ASU is M.O.D.A.L.E.W.’s Homebase!

M.O.D.A.L.E.W.’s top network is the huge community of Arizona State University. AAMASU and S.T.A.R.S.; two of the many organizations here at ASU that M.O.D.A.L.E.W. supports are having two extravagant events in the month of April. One organization is African American Men of Arizona State University (AAMASU); they're having their fifth annual “Throwback Skate Jam” this Thursday April 16 at USA Skateland which is located on 7 E. Southern Avenue, Mesa, Arizona. AAMASU is a strong organization to better the young men in the African-American community to assist them to strive and achieve excellence for their community, themselves, and future by leading by example. To show support come out and experience old school with a new generation skate jam!


Another organization that M.O.D.A.L.E.W. fully supports is Students Taking Action to Reach Success (S.T.A.R.S); they’re having a fashion show “Music Meets Fashion: The Run Way Edition” along with One Campaign on Thursday April 23 in the Memorial Union on the Tempe Campus of ASU. S.T.A.R.S. is lovely organization to motivate and support students to reach success academically and professionally. Be supportive to these students and exhibit the fashion, the music, and the future of our world in this Runway Edition of Music Meets Fashion!

A young man that’s about his money! Yung Money!

M.O.D.A.L.E.W. covers all aspects of entertainment through music, television, and special events. M.O.D.A.L.E.W. happens to be close friends with top rising rap artist on the come up; Yung Money! This young man hails from the vacation town of South Florida, currently residing in the hot desert of Phoenix, Arizona. He has been on the music grind since sixth grade. Yung Money has huge trail of fans following him on MySpace and attending his crazy shows with top celebrities such as Paul Wall, Lil’ Scrappy, E-40, Kidz in the Hall, Freeway, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Willy Northpole, Twista, Mike Jones, and that’s just to name a few.
He stands tall stating his name doesn’t have any affiliation with Lil’ Wayne; He states he is representation for young people trying to achieve success with a mentality as money is the motivation. Big name sponsorship from Bobby Fresh Clothing and two heavy smashing singles flowing in the streets and radios of Phoenix; titled “High Price Life and Dime Piece”. Yung Money has his debut album dropping in winter 2009 titled “For the Love of Money”. This young man’s motivation and dedication is strong for the music industry and he plans to keep staying focus and grinding in the lab! Yung Money’s shout outs M.O.D.A.L.E.W., Bobby Fresh, King Jay, Tray Gutter, DJ John Blaze, and the flame thrower DJ’s!
